The great latent catalytic capacity, manifested at the extremely high intracellular concentrations and in large apparent kcat/Km values, of the glycolytic enzymes on the one hand and their tendency in experiments in vitro to form functionally-specific flux-enhancing (channeling) complexes on the other, is considered and discussed as an apparent discrepancy. A random association of glycolytic enzymes in vivo is probable.

Background: Inhibition of IL-4/IL-13 driven inflammation by dupilumab has shown significant clinical benefits in treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD).
Objective: To assess longitudinal protein and metabolite composition in AD skin during dupilumab treatment.
Methods: Skin tape strip (STS) were collected from lesional/non-lesional skin of 20 AD patients during 16-week dupilumab treatment and from 20 healthy volunteers (HV) followed for 16-weeks.

: Incomptine A () has been reported to have cytotoxic activity in non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer cell lines and have effects on U-937 cells, including the induction of apoptosis, the production of reactive oxygen species, and the inhibition of glycolytic enzymes. Also, has cytotoxic activity in the triple-negative subtypes, HER2+, and luminal A of breast cancer cells, with its properties being associated with an effect on the antiapoptotic function of Hexokinase II (HKII). : In this research, we reviewed the altered levels of proteins present in the lymph nodes of male Balb/c mice inoculated with U-937 cells and treated with or methotrexate, as well as mice only inoculated with cancer cells.

Objective: The aim of the present study was to determine the effects of selenium-methylselenocysteine (MSC) on the viability, migration, and glycolysis of human ATC cell lines 8305 and BHT101 .
Methods: Cells were treated with MSC and viability was determined using the Cell Counting Kit 8 assay. The migratory ability of cells was detected using a Transwell migration assay, and the expression levels of proteins involved in the ERK1/2, JNK, and p38 signaling pathways were measured by western blotting.

Purpose: Ocular neovascularization is a major cause of blindness. Although fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF2) has been implicated in the pathophysiology of angiogenesis, the underlying mechanisms remain incompletely understood. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of FGF2 in retinal neovascularization and elucidate its underlying mechanisms.

Background: cattle is known to be temperamental and to produce beef with greater variability in terms of quality compared to beef of . Cattle adaptability and resilience are of great importance to sustain beef production worldwide.
Objective: The study aimed to understand early post-mortem metabolites among muscles with different fiber types profile of calm and excitable Nellore, as well as its relationship with fragmentation of beef aged up to 28 d.
