The design and fabrication of nanocatalysts with high accessibility and sintering resistance remain significant challenges in heterogeneous electrocatalysis. Herein, a novel catalyst is introduced that combines electronic pumping with alloy crystal facet engineering. At the nanoscale, the electronic pump leverages the chemical potential difference to drive electron migration from one region to another, separating and transferring electron-hole pairs.

The Loess Plateau in northwest China features fragmented terrain and is prone to landslides. However, the complex environment of the Loess Plateau, combined with the inherent limitations of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), often results in false positives and missed detection for deep learning models based on CNNs when identifying landslides from high-resolution remote sensing images. To deal with this challenge, our research introduced a CNN-transformer hybrid network.

To investigate the mechanical and energy evolution characteristics of fractured rock under true triaxial stresses, true triaxial strength compression experiments on fractured sandstone were conducted with varying crack lengths and widths. The results indicate that under true triaxial stresses, the peak stress of the rock exhibits a gradual decline with an increase in crack length and width. Meanwhile, crack initiation stress and crack damage stress of fractured sandstone also demonstrate a declining trend overall, and the influence of crack length on the characteristic stress (crack initiation stress and crack damage stress) of sandstone is more pronounced than that of crack width.

Coal-based humic acid residue (HAS), as a waste generated during humic acid production, has been gaining attention in recent years due to its adsorption capacity and containing nutrients. In this study, to improve the adsorption capacity of HAS for and Hg, phosphate-modified materials (N-HAS) were prepared by a hydrothermal method and HAS and N-HAS were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray fluorescence (XRF); batch adsorption experiments investigated the adsorption capacity of N-HAS on Hg under different pH, and isothermal adsorption model and kinetic model fitted the adsorption process to explore the adsorption mechanism; the effects of various amounts of N-HAS on the Hg content in maize and the effective Hg in the soil under Hg-contaminated soil were investigated by field trial.
