Background: The oral health of over 90,000 individuals in UK prisons is four times worse than the general population. A recent scoping review on the oral health of prisoners inside the justice system highlighted the lack of research about what happens when they transition out of prison to become community returners.
Objectives: To co-design a film to showcase the dental experiences of community returners before and after they transition out of prison, change perceptions and inform oral health research priorities.
The electron cryomicroscopy (cryo-EM) resolution revolution has shifted structural biology into a new era, enabling the routine structure determination of macromolecular complexes at an unprecedented rate. Building on this, electron cryotomography (cryo-ET) offers the potential to visualise the native three-dimensional organisation of biological specimens, from cells to tissues and even entire organisms. Despite this huge potential, the study of tissue-like multicellular specimens via cryo-ET still presents numerous challenges, wherein many steps in the workflow are being developed or in urgent need of improvement.

Background: Beyond the Stigma (BTS) was an exhibition of stories about staff with physical and hidden impairments at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham, UK.
Objective: Evaluative research aimed to examine BTS's long-term impact on participants who publicly shared lived experiences of disability in their hospital workplace. It also sought to discover how arts-based interventions can effectively identify and promote nuanced disability understandings and the wellbeing of disabled people working in healthcare.
