CPE is an experience-based approach to learning spiritual care which combines clinical care with qualified supervision, in-class education and group reflection (CASC--http://www.spiritualcare.ca/). Through didactic seminars, group presentations and personal reading there is opportunity for the student to acquire, apply and integrate relevant theoretical information into their practice. Written for my CPE Specialist application, this paper describes how, through the course of advanced CPE education, I learn to utilize and integrate theory into my clinical work. Beginning with three strands--authenticity, listening and storytelling--I then discuss how the behavioural sciences and theology inform my practice. Focusing on empathy, I speak of the application of disclosure, the use of counter-transference as a diagnostic tool, and the place of therapeutic termination. Group theory, family systems theory, theological reflection, liturgical ministry, and multi-faith practices are considered.

Diabetic foot ulcers with or without concomitant chronic limb-threatening ischemia put patients at exceedingly high risk of limb loss and death. The toe & flow model is a multidisciplinary team-based model captained by a podiatrist or orthopedic foot and ankle specialist and a vascular specialist, which streamlines treatment for patients with diabetic foot ulcer and chronic limb-threatening ischemia. This model creates a functional ecosystem around it by integrating other medical professionals and community partners.

Over the past decade, dissolving microneedles (DMNs) have emerged as a promising approach for drug delivery to the brain. They are tiny devices designed to penetrate biological barriers, offering a painless method for localized and controlled drug delivery. They are suitable for delivering drugs that are susceptible to degradation when delivered orally.

Multi-day sampling is not uncommon in ambient air studies. This work examines how the sampling time interval affects the effectiveness of source-receptor trajectory statistical methods, specifically the Concentration Weighted Trajectory (CWT) and the Potential Source Contribution Function (PSCF), in identifying potential aerosol sources. By analyzing long-term series of beryllium-7 radioactive aerosols measured in Helsinki (26 m asl), PM concentrations at Viznar (1260 m asl) in southeastern Spain, and several controlled synthetic sources, we compared the outcomes of CWT and PSCF analyses from daily to weekly resolutions.

The rising globalization of the workforce needs an awareness of the elements that influence professionals' decisions to work overseas. Especially in the Philippines where professionals are migrating abroad, there is little to no literature available for the behavioral intention and satisfaction of the movement. This study considered an integrated theoretical model based on the Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Expectation-Confirmation Theory (ECT) to analyze the factors influencing Filipino engineering professionals' aspirations to work overseas.

Background: Literature reviews of measurement properties of an outcome measurement instrument are fast becoming the evidence base for making decisions about the suitability of the instrument for a given application. In our case at OMERACT it is the fitness of an instrument for inclusion in a Core Outcome Set. Transparency in the processes and decision making at each step are important to allow consumers of the literature review to have a clear understanding of the decision-making process.
