Introduction: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the functional status of the extremities and "core" stabilization in women with fibromyalgia (FM).
Material And Methods: Fifty-seven women with FM were included. The Widespread Pain Index (WPI), Visual Analogue Scale-Pain (VAS-Pain), Symptom Severity Scale (SSS), Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ), McGill Static endurance tests (trunk flexors endurance, trunk extensors endurance, lateral bridge tests), Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand Questionnaire (DASH), grip strength, Lower Extremity Functional Scale (LEFS), chair-stand test, pressure pain threshold and 6-minute walk test (6MWT) were used in evaluation.

: Measuring joint range of motion (ROM) is essential for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal diseases. However, most clinical measurements are conducted using conventional devices, and their reliability may significantly depend on the tester. This study implemented an RGB-D (red/green/blue-depth) sensor-based artificial intelligence (AI) device to measure joint ROM and compared its reliability with that of a universal goniometer (UG).

Objective: This study aimed to assess reachable workspace (RWS) in patients post-osteosynthesis of shoulder, elbow, or wrist fractures and explore correlations with self-reported function and kinesiophobia.
Design: An observational case-control study compared patients with fractures to a control group, utilizing questionnaires and 3D kinematic data.
Participants: The sample included 66 individuals who had undergone osteosynthesis: 21 with shoulder fractures, 10 with elbow fractures, and 22 with wrist fractures.

Background: Reversed shoulder arthroplasty (rTSA) is often used to restore functionality in patients with joint arthropathy and dysfunctional rotator cuff. As rTSA changes the biomechanical properties of the shoulder, an altered movement pattern of arm and scapula is to be expected. Previous studies focused on changes of the scapulohumeral rhythm during functional elevation tasks.

Importance: Rotator cuff tendinopathy represents the most prevalent cause of shoulder pain, the third most common musculoskeletal disorder after low back pain and knee pain.
Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of corticosteroid injection(s), alone or in combination with anesthetic injection or any other physical therapist interventions, compared to physical therapist interventions alone in adults with rotator cuff tendinopathy.
Design: This study was a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
