Introduction: Lipomas arising in the parietal peritoneum are rare, and some of them cause abdominal pain due to torsion of the pedunculated peritoneum. We encountered a case of parietal peritoneal lipoma arising upper peritoneum. In this report, we describe the detail of clinical presentation and discuss its potential pathogenesis and treatment strategy.

Because of the high blood flow and high pressure, the aortic arch, which sends out 3 branches including the innominate artery that separates the right common carotid artery and the right subclavian artery, the left common carotid artery, and the left subclavian artery, is an important blood vessel supplying the brain and spinal cord, so the risk of aneurysms in this area is very high. The main risk is that the rupture can cause massive bleeding; the secondary is that some aortic arch lesions can cause insufficient blood supply to the brain or spinal cord. If early diagnosis can be detected, it could be treated completely with minimally invasive or open surgery.

In daily life, prehension is typically not the end goal of hand-object interactions but a precursor for manipulation. Nevertheless, functional MRI (fMRI) studies investigating manual manipulation have primarily relied on prehension as the end goal of an action. Here, we used slow event-related fMRI to investigate differences in neural activation patterns between prehension in isolation and prehension for object manipulation.

Objective: To observe the effect of scalp acupuncture on the expression of argarginine vasopressin receptor-1a(VR), phosphorylated calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅱ(p-CaMKⅡ), and aquaporin 4(AQP) at hypothalamus in middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rats, so as to explore the molecular mechanisms of scalp acupuncture reducing encepha-ledema in acute ischemic stroke.
Methods: A total of 96 male SD rats were randomly divided into normal, model, inhibitor and scalp acupuncture groups, with 24 rats in each group. The MCAO model was established by thread occlusion method.
