Aim: This study aims to compare the efficacy of modified single-incision surgery with that of traditional modified Ravitch surgery for the repair of pectus excavatum in pediatric patients.
Methods: In this retrospective study, we included patients who underwent surgical correction for sternal depression from January 2015 to December 2020 across four major medical centers. Patients were categorized into two specific groups on the basis of the surgical technique employed: the modified single-incision surgery group, which comprised patients treated using the novel single-incision approach, and the traditional modified Ravitch surgery group, which included patients who received the conventional Ravitch surgery with multiple incisions.

Background: Malone antegrade continence enemas (MACE) are increasingly being used to manage severe constipation and fecal incontinence in children. Despite advances in minimally invasive pediatric colorectal surgery, single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) for MACE creation remains relatively unexplored. This study, featuring the largest cohort to date, evaluates the feasibility, safety, and clinical outcomes of SILS MACE creation in children.

Aim: This study aims to explore the rationality, feasibility, safety, and effectiveness of single-incision laparoscopic gastric pull-up (SILS-GPU) and robot-assisted gastric pull-up (R-GPU) methods.
Methods: Hospital records of patients who underwent gastric pull-up with either SILS-GPU or R-GPU between May2016 and January 2024 were reviewed. Demographics, diagnosis, surgical techniques, and postoperative outcomes were evaluated.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between forceps grasp count and procedure time in single-incision laparoscopic percutaneous extraperitoneal closure surgeries and the evolution of these metrics with accumulated experience.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 741 procedures performed by surgeons between 2015 and 2023. Surgical videos were analyzed to calculate the procedure time, defined as the time required for suturing around the hernial orifice, and the forceps grasp count.
