In this article, we provide a historical overview of the Object Relations Inventory (ORI) and related methods for the assessment of object relations constructed by Sidney Blatt and colleagues (e.g., Blatt, Bers, & Schaffer, 1992 ; Blatt, Wein, Chevron, & Quinlan, 1979 ; Diamond, Kaslow, Coonerty, & Blatt, 1990 ). We clarify terminology that has been used inconsistently in the literature, especially by way of differentiating the methods used to collect descriptions of significant figures, such as the ORI and its predecessor, the Parental Description (PD) task, and the rating scales that Blatt and colleagues constructed to rate those descriptions. We provide a tabular summary of empirical studies of the measure and offer a critical review of those aspects of the instrument that require further empirical investigation and methodological rigor.

Both personality traits and colour saturation are associated with emotion; however, how colour saturation preference interacts with different traits and whether this interaction is modulated by object-colour relations remains unclear. In this study, we examined the impact of object-colour relations on colour saturation preference and the relative importance of each personality trait in predicting this preference. Sixty Chinese college students were recruited and registered based on their preferred colour saturation of an object displayed on a computer screen.

Background And Purpose: Comprehensive data on factors affecting partnership satisfaction among adolescents and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors are limited. Our study examines partnership satisfaction, sexual satisfaction, and attachment insecurities, exploring how attachment-related anxiety and avoidance influence the relationship between sexual and partnership satisfaction across major tumor entities in this population.
Patients And Methods: We utilized data from two measurement time points (t1 and t6) of the AYA-LE study, a prospective longitudinal investigation examining the temporal course and associated factors of life satisfaction and psychological distress among AYA cancer survivors.

This paper introduces the Morphologically-Analyzed and Syntactically-Annotated Quran (MASAQ) dataset, a comprehensive resource designed to address the scarcity of annotated Quranic Arabic corpora and facilitate the development of advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) models. The Quran, being a cornerstone of classical Arabic, presents unique challenges for NLP due to its sacred nature and complex linguistic features. MASAQ provides a detailed syntactic and morphological annotation of the entire Quranic text, utilizing a rigorously verified text from Tanzil.

There is evidence that emotion regulation plays a role in the aetiology and maintenance of OCD, but knowledge about what impacts emotion dysregulation is limited. Attachment style is related to both emotion regulation and OCD symptoms, but the link between them has not been thoroughly studied. Examining emotion dysregulation within the context of OCD through an attachment theory framework may lead to a better understanding of the aetiology and maintenance of OCD.
