Background: Spatial-temporal control of mRNA translation in dendrites is important for synaptic plasticity. In response to pre-synaptic stimuli, local mRNA translation can be rapidly triggered near stimulated synapses to supply the necessary proteins for synapse maturation or elimination, and 3' untranslated regions (UTRs) are responsible for proper localization of mRNAs in dendrites. Although is a robust technique for analyzing RNA localization in fixed neurons, live-cell imaging of RNA dynamics remains challenging.

Objective: To investigate the impact of freshmen's mental health on their short-and long-term academic performance, as well as to provide empirical evidence for improving university students' mental health intervention tactics and higher education quality.
Methods: A multiple regression model was used to analyze student data from 3 years of enrollment at M University in Fujian Province.
Results: Different mental health problems have a significant impact on academic performance, which varies by gender, enrollment year, and subject.

Quantifying dark-field signals generally involves multiple exposures for phase retrieval, separating contributions from scattering, refraction, and attenuation. Here, we introduce an approach for non-interferometric X-ray dark-field imaging that presents a single-parameter representation of the sample.
