Positioning handles and occlusal locks have evolved as improvements to the Teeth-in-a-Day protocol. These improvements have enabled a more accurate alignment of the removable dental prosthesis during the conversion prosthesis technique. These improvements can be easily incorporated through computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing digital denture fabrication process.

Objectives: To review the factors that impact the accuracy of intraoral scanners (IOSs) when fabricating tooth-supported restorations.
Overview: Factors can have a different impact on IOS accuracy depending on the scanning purpose. If the goal is to fabricate tooth-supported restorations, it is essential to review the following operator-related factors: IOS technology and system, scan extension and starting quadrant, scanning pattern, scanning distance, and rescanning methods.

Objectives: To measure the influence of scanning pattern on the accuracy, time, and number of photograms of complete-arch intraoral implant scans.
Methods: A maxillary edentulous patient with 7 implants was selected. The reference implant cast was obtained using conventional methods (7Series Scanner).

Objectives: This test aimed to investigate the factors affecting the locking force between the implant and abutment and the amount of abutment subsidence in pure Morse taper connection implant systems.
Methods: With reference to the Bicon implant abutment connection design, different types of implant specimens and their corresponding types of abutments were fabricated. The implant-abutment locking taper was uniformly 1.

Purpose: To evaluate the impact of occlusal splint plus laser therapy (OS + LT) compared with OS alone on the patient-reported outcomes and clinical parameters of patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMDs).
Methods: Twenty-three patients with TMDs were randomly assigned to two treatment approaches: OS and OS + LT (multiwave locked system). The two outcomes were clinical parameters (mouth-opening distances, number of muscles and TMJs with pain) and patient-reported outcomes (pain score and oral health-related quality of life [OHRQoL] determined using the 14-item oral health impact profile [OHIP-14]).
