This data article contains full list of autophagy related genes that are altered in diabetic heart. This article also shows data from in vitro cultured cardiomyocytes that are exposed the high glucose treatment to simulate hyperglycemic state in vitro. The interpretation of these data and further extensive insights into the regulation of SG biogenesis by AMPK can be found in "Type-2 diabetes increases autophagy in the human heart through promotion of Beclin-1 mediated pathway" (Munasinghe et al., in press) [1].

Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness, often associated with elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) due to trabecular meshwork (TM) dysfunction. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is recognized as a significant risk factor for glaucoma; however, the molecular mechanisms through which hyperglycemia affects TM function remain unclear. This study investigated the impact of high glucose on gene expression in human TM (HTM) cells to uncover pathways that contribute to TM dysfunction and glaucoma pathogenesis under diabetic conditions.

Currently, there is no cure or disease altering treatment for this disease. This is, in part, due to a lack of insight into early phenotypes of BPAN progression and 's role in establishing and maintaining neurological function.

Background: Rectal cancer is a highly heterogeneous gastrointestinal tumor, and the prognosis for patients with treatment-resistant and metastatic rectal cancer remains poor. Mitophagy, a type of selective autophagy that targets mitochondria, plays a role in promoting or inhibiting tumors; however, the importance of mitophagy-related genes (MRGs) in the prognosis and treatment of rectal cancer is unclear.
Methods: In this study, we used the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and MRGs from the TCGA-READ dataset to identify differentially expressed mitophagy-related genes (MRDEGs).

Background: Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) is widely used to diagnose thyroid carcinoma (TC), though its accuracy in differentiating malignant nodules is limited. We identified TC-associated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and examined the impact of these genes, particularly SALL1, on immune escape mechanisms within TC cells.
Methods And Materials: DEG analysis was conducted on GSE65144 dataset to identify genes associated with TC.

(L.) Moench is the fifth most important cereal crop and expected to gain prominence due to its versatility, low input requirements, and tolerance to hot and dry conditions. In warm and humid environments the productivity of sorghum is severely limited by the hemibiotrophic fungal pathogen , the causal agent of anthracnose.
