Women are disproportionately affected by chronic autoimmune diseases (AD) like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and Sjögren's syndrome. Traditional evaluations often underestimate the associated cardiovascular disease (CVD) and stroke risk in women having AD. Vitamin D deficiency increases susceptibility to these conditions.

Purpose: This study aimed to present clinical and immunological features in patients with neuroimmune complications of COVID-19 during Omicron wave in China.
Methods: Patients with neuroimmune complications associated with COVID-19 were retrospectively analyzed in Huashan Hospital from December 2022 to April 2023, during the widespread prevalence of Omicron variants in China. Demographic information, symptoms, electrophysiological findings, cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) test results and immunological markers, Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) characteristics, treatment strategies and outcomes of these patients were reviewed and analyzed.

Introduction And Objective: Conditions resulting from diseases of the brain-gut axis and gum-gut axis show many mutual, often bi-directional interrelationships. The accompanying quantitative and/or qualitative disorders of intestinal microflora may be effectively regulated by implementation of a properly adjusted diet therapy. The aim of the study is to investigate whether there is a relationship between small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and non-specific inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), as well as indications for the mode of nutrition.
