This study case presents a 53 years old patient with severe aesthetic dysfunctions due to an ectopic maxillary canine associated with a frontal edentulous space. Orthodontic treatment proposition was refused by the patient. After canine extraction, metalo-ceramic fixed partial prosthesis successfully restored the aesthetic damage in the conditions of a non-gingival smile. Adapted abutment teeth preparations were made in order to provide necessary space for aesthetic alignment of artificial teeth in the pontic.

The effect of the time-to-treat for prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous areas of the jaws can generate several intra-arch and inter-arch clinical changes over time, including alveolar or dentoalveolar block extrusion. To treat these conditions, posterior maxillary segmental osteotomy (PMSO) is a surgical option. This study reports a case of a patient who developed dentoalveolar block extrusion after postponing implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation for 5 years.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of and discrepancies between planned and final implant positions using dynamic computer-assisted implant surgery (d-CAIS) and autonomous robotic computer-assisted implant surgery (r-CAIS) in clinical practice.
Materials And Methods: The study included 83 patients, who received 135 implants between December 2022 and March 2024 (r-CAIS group: 43 patients with 71 implants; d-CAIS group: 40 patients with 64 implants). Cone-beam computed tomography scans taken before and after surgery assessed linear and angular deviations between the groups in both 2D and 3D spaces.

Implant-supported hybrid prostheses have become popular solutions when treating patients with terminal dentitions or who are completely edentulous. Since the implementation of osseointegrated dental implants to treat edentulism, multiple prosthetic designs and materials have been used for full-arch fixed hybrid prostheses.
