Background: Learning health systems (LHS) have the potential to use health data in real time through rapid and continuous cycles of data interrogation, implementing insights to practice, feedback, and practice change. However, there is a lack of an appropriately skilled interprofessional informatics workforce that can leverage knowledge to design innovative solutions. Therefore, there is a need to develop tailored professional development training in digital health, to foster skilled interprofessional learning communities in the health care workforce in Australia.

Background: Research on physically active learning (PAL) has mainly been investigated experimentally, where interventions have been introduced to study effects on, for example, physical activity (PA) levels. This might undermine real-world contexts and realistic PA levels when teachers have sustained PAL in their regular teaching practice for several years. The purpose of this study was to observe and describe the organization and content of a variety of teaching where PAL was enacted by experienced teachers and to describe the corresponding PA levels and PA intensity in real-world practices.

Drawing from my new book , it focuses on two particular facets of her teaching: first, the ways Lorde centered students' ideas to generate collective investment in courses and allow them to learn from one another, and second, how she combined both a public and private pedagogy to help them address the injustice they were studying. I conclude with a brief discussion of how Lorde's work has shaped my own approach to classrooms.

The Research-based Developmentally Informed (REDI) program enriched Head Start classrooms with teacher-delivered curriculum components designed to enhance child social-emotional learning and language-literacy skills. Parents received information about the program via backpack express, including weekly handouts about program topics and three DVDs illustrating REDI interactive strategies and suggesting home learning activities. In addition to effects on child skill acquisition and school performance (reported previously), positive effects emerged on a family-based outcome: parents of children in REDI-enriched classrooms reported higher quality preschool parent-child conversations than parents in the randomized control group (usual practice) classrooms.
