Medical Service of Western Military District provided training and medical support for a ceremonial crew during the parade on the Red Square in honour of the 69th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Medical support was organized at all stages of the preparation and conduct of the parade: the first stage--preparatory, the second stage--conducting training, the third stage--medical care of the parade and the fourth--stage withdrawal in places of permanent deployment. Clofazimine is an emerging drug for the treatment of cryptosporidiosis in infants. As a poorly water-soluble drug, the formulation of clofazimine in age-appropriate vehicles is challenging and often results in the use of off-label formulations. Milk-based vehicles such as human milk and bovine milk have been investigated as age-appropriate formulations and shown to increase the solubilisation of poorly water-soluble drugs via enhanced solubility in lipid digestion products in vitro.

Objective: We investigated diagnostic utility of phosphorylated tau 217 and 181 (ptau217, ptau181), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), amyloid beta 42 and 40 (Aβ42, Aβ40), and neurofilament light (NfL) to distinguish biomarker-defined Alzheimer disease (AD) from non-AD conditions, in a heterogenous clinical cohort of younger people.
Methods: Plasma biomarkers were analysed using ultrasensitive technology, and compared in patients with CSF Alzheimer disease profiles (A+T+) to other CSF profiles (Other).
Results: Seventy-nine patients were included, median age 60.

Objective: Timely, accurate distinction between behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD) and primary psychiatric disorders (PPD) is a clinical challenge. Blood biomarkers such as neurofilament light chain (NfL) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) have shown promise. Prior work has shown NfL helps distinguish FTD from PPD.

Background: Low-carbohydrate diets (LCD) are popular for weight loss but lack evidence about micronutrient sufficiency in real-life use. This study assessed the intake and biochemical status of selected micronutrients in people voluntarily following LCDs.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted (2018-20) among 98 adults recruited as self-reporting either LCD (n = 49) or diets not restricting carbohydrates (controls; n = 49).

Unlabelled: This paper presents the results of the first X-ray fluorescence (XRF) investigation conducted on three late medieval chalices associated with Ireland: the Ó Learghusa chalice, auctioned as medieval Irish in 2021, does not have a confirmed provenance; the de Burgo-O'Malley chalice, dated 1494, and the TP-IEP chalice, dated 1589, both of Irish provenance. This study effectively addressed the knowledge gap concerning Irish medieval silver chalices composition. The analysis revealed that both the Ó Learghusa and de Burgo-O'Malley chalices were crafted from a silver-copper alloy and adorned using a fire-gilding technique.
