The validated therapeutic effects of dihydroartemisinin (DHA) in solid tumors have encouraged us to explore its potential in treating T-cell lymphoma. We found that Jurkat cells (a T-cell lyphoma cell line) were sensitive to DHA treatment with a IC50 of dihydroartemisinin. The cytotoxic effect of DHA in Jurkat cells showed a dose- and time- dependent manner. Interestingly, the cytotoxic effect of DHA was further enhanced by holotransferrin (HTF) due to the high expression of transferrin receptors in T-cell lymphoma. Mechanistically, DHA significantly increased the production of intracellular reactive oxygen species, which led to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. The DHA treatment also inhibited the expression of protumorgenic factors including VEGF and telomerase catalytic subunit. Our results have proved the therapeutic effect of DHA in T-cell lymphoma. Especially in combination with HTF, DHA may provide a novel efficient approach in combating the deadly disease.

Hydroa vacciniforme lymphoproliferative disorders (HVLPD) fall within the clinical spectrum of chronic active epstein barr virus (EBV) disease (CAEBVD), ranging from localised and/or indolent forms (classic HVLPD) to systemic disease with fever, hepatosplenomegaly and lymphadenopathy (systemic HVLPD). A preadolescent male with 47XYY, multicystic dysplastic kidney, autism spectrum disorder and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) presented with photodistributed non-pruritic, non-painful necrotic papulovesicles accompanied by non-febrile intermittent fatigue and lymphadenopathy. The patient had a history of EBV pneumonia in infancy confirmed by CT scan and was later diagnosed with CAEBV.

B cell immunity carries the inherent risk of deviating into autoimmunity and malignancy, which are both strongly associated with genetic variants or alterations that increase immune signaling. Here, we investigated the interplay of autoimmunity and lymphoma risk factors centered around the archetypal negative immune regulator TNFAIP3/A20 in mice. Counterintuitively, B cells with moderately elevated sensitivity to stimulation caused fatal autoimmune pathology, while those with high sensitivity did not.

Purpose: This study aims to comprehensively characterize the clinical, demographic, and histopathological features of ocular adnexal lymphoma (OAL) and assess their impact on patients' survival outcomes.
Methods: A total of 123 patients were included in the study; of these, 93 patients were selected for survival analysis. Survival data were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier test, and correlation was assessed through the log-rank test and Cox regression analysis.

: The primary objective of this study was to investigate clinical manifestations, time to diagnosis, and number of biopsies in patients with extranodal natural killer T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL). The secondary objectives were to determine response rates, survival outcomes, prognostic factor for overall survival (OS), and validation of the Prognostic Index of Natural Killer Lymphoma (PINK), Ann Arbor staging system (AASS), and the CA system. : This retrospective study included data pertaining to patients with newly diagnosed ENKTL in Chiang-Mai University Hospital from 2004 to 2020.

Background: Single antigen (Ag)-targeted immunotherapies for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are highly effective; however, up to 50% of patients relapse after these treatments. Most of these relapses lack target Ag expression, suggesting targeting multiple Ags would be advantageous.
Materials & Methods: The multi-Ag immune responses to ALL induced by transducing cell lines with xenoAgs green fluorescent protein and firefly luciferase was elucidated using flow cytometry, ELISA, and ELISpot assays.
