Background: Tertiary pediatric hospitals usually provide excellent clinical services, but such centers have a lot to do for educational perfection.
Objectives: This study was performed to address under-graduate educational deficits and find feasible solutions.
Patients And Methods: This cross-sectional study was done in a target population of 77 sixth year undergraduate medical students (response rate = 78%) who spent their 3-month pediatric rotation in the Children's Medical Center, the Pediatrics Center of Excellence in Tehran, Iran. The Dundee ready educational environment measure (DREEM) instrument was used for assessing educational environment of this subspecialized pediatric hospital.
Results: Among 60 students who answered the questionnaires, 24 were male (40%). Participants' age ranged from 23 to 24 years. The mean total score was 95.8 (48%). Comparison of scores based on students' knowledge showed no significant difference. Problematic areas were learning, academic self-perception, and social self-perception.
Conclusions: Having an accurate schedule to train general practitioner, using new teaching methods, and providing a non-stressful atmosphere were suggested solutions.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine what activities and skills interprofessional health science preceptors (IHSPs) perform and value as a part of their pedagogical practice in order to support the development of a preceptor self-assessment tool and assist in preceptor training.
Methods: We administered an online survey to identify core preceptor activities across health sciences disciplines that interact with nursing. The initial survey items were developed based on the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) core competencies as well as a search of literature on expected preceptor competencies and activities across individual health sciences professions.

Background: Methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP) and protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5) are considered to be a synthetic lethal pair of targets, due to the fact that deletion of MTAP leads to massive production of methylthioadenosine (MTA) decreasing the activity of PRMT5. In vitro and in vivo experiments have demonstrated that MRTX1719, a small molecule that selectively binds PRMT5/MTA complex, significantly inhibits the proliferation of MTAP-deficient tumors and has a weak toxic effect on normal cells. However, it has been reported that MTAP-deleted tumors did not significantly accumulate MTA in vivo due to metabolism of MTA by MTAP-expressing stroma, which might lead to a diminished anti-cancer effect of MRTX1719.
