Delusion is a central but difficult and controversial term in psychiatry. Similar to the term schizophrenia at the nosological level, the basic questions in the specialty are linked in the debate on delusion at the clinical psychopathological level, beginning with epistemological and methodological aspects up to concrete embodiment of the physician-patient relationship. The text of this article reflects this development from the nineteenth century up to the present day and makes reference to the lively discussion on the future directions of psychiatric research triggered by the research domain criteria (RDoC). Under certain prerequisites, including in particular an extensive understanding of psychopathology, delusion is considered to be a reasonable scientific term, also in the future.

This article compares the population agglomeration characteristics of the Xi'an metropolitan area in western China with those of metropolitan areas in other regions officially approved by the Chinese government. The kernel density estimation method and Markov chain model were used to conduct the study. The results revealed that from 2010 to 2020, the population agglomeration level of the Xi'an metropolitan area showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.

In this study, a Pd nanoparticles@hydrogen-bonded organic framework (Pd NPs@HOF) thin film was fabricated at the toluene-water interface. The HOF was formed through the interaction of trimesic acid (TMA) and melamine (Mel) in the water phase, while Pd(0) was produced from the reduction of [PdCl(cod)] in the organic phase. The as-synthesized Pd NPs@HOF thin film was demonstrated to be an effective catalyst for the selective reduction of -nitrophenol and -nitrophenol to -aminophenol and -aminophenol.
