Background: Switching between versions of medication products happens commonly despite challenges in achieving bioequivalence and therapeutic equivalence. Central nervous system and psychiatric drugs, especially those that are technically demanding to manufacture and have complex pharmacokinetic properties, such as long-acting injectables (LAIs), pose particular challenges to bioequivalence and safe and efficacious drug switching.

Aims: To assess whether drugs deemed "bioequivalent" are truly interchangeable in drug switching.

AI-driven multi-omics integration for multi-scale predictive modeling of genotype-environment-phenotype relationships.

Despite the wealth of single-cell multi-omics data, it remains challenging to predict the consequences of novel genetic and chemical perturbations in the human body. It requires knowledge of molecular interactions at all biological levels, encompassing disease models and humans. Current machine learning methods primarily establish statistical correlations between genotypes and phenotypes but struggle to identify physiologically significant causal factors, limiting their predictive power.

Introduction: Lymphoma is a common malignancy among adolescents and young adults (AYAs) which is generally defined as 15-39 years. Relative to other age groups, lymphoma in AYAs remains understudied with heterogeneous treatment options.

Methods: We performed a retrospective review of patients aged 18-60 years in the Australasian Lymphoma and Related Diseases Registry (LaRDR) with new diagnoses of the common subtypes of lymphoma in AYAs between January 2016 and April 2023.

Purpose: To investigate the role of corneal epithelium- and Bowman's layer-thickness (ET and BLT) changes as possible early biomarkers of keratoconus (KC) development.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study patients with unilateral KC (UKC) and a group of healthy controls underwent polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT) for the evaluation of corneal ET and BLT. These values were compared among three subgroups of eyes, i.

This study aims to characterize people with dementia who were charged with criminal offences between 1995 and 2020 and describe their offending. Court cases were derived from Australian legal databases and descriptive data were manually extracted from case reports. Of 62 people variously charged with homicide, assault, child sexual assault, breach of conditions, property and larceny offences, driving offences, perverting the course of justice and arson, 46 were identified as having executive dysfunction, either as stated by medical expert witnesses or implicitly, due to conditions like Huntington's disease and frontotemporal dementia.
