Atopic dermatitis (AD)-like graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is a chronic form of skin GVHD with features that include erythema, xerosis, scaling, and pruritus. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a devastating X-linked disorder caused by dystrophin gene mutations. Despite recent advances in understanding the disease etiology and applying emerging treatment methodologies, glucocorticoid derivatives remain the only general therapeutic option that can slow disease development. However, the precise molecular mechanism of glucocorticoid action remains unclear, and there is still need for additional remedies to complement the treatment.

Importance: Prior evidence suggests that the use of therapy dogs in emergency care reduces anxiety in adults, but no trial has tested the use of therapy dogs in emergency care of children.
Objective: To examine whether adjunctive use of therapy dogs in standard child-life therapy reduces child-reported and parent-reported child anxiety in a pediatric emergency department (ED).
Design, Setting, And Participants: This randomized clinical trial was conducted from February 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, at an academic pediatric ED.
Purpose: To evaluate hereditary angioedema (HAE) attack frequency associated with dental procedures, determine whether patients with post-dental procedural attacks receive more appropriate treatment after their condition is diagnosed, and investigate the potential impact of perceived risk on patients seeking dental care and dental professionals providing it.
Materials And Methods: The observational study included all the eligible adults from the Romanian Hereditary Angioedema Registry who provided informed consent. The impact of dental procedures on the HAE attacks was measured using a structured questionnaire including 20 questions administered via telephone.

Objective: We aimed to identify and compare systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) patients receiving treatment with either glucocorticoids and/or conventional synthetic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (csDMARDs) or biologic drugs.
Methods: This was a retrospective cross-sectional study. sJIA patients (n=138) were categorized into two groups: Group A (n=51) consisted of individuals who received only glucocorticoids and/or csDMARDs, while Group B (n=87) included those who received at least one biologic drug.
