We examined the interactions between mesenteric adipose tissue, creeping fat, and gut microbiota in Crohn's disease (CD), a condition marked by chronic gastrointestinal inflammation with a rising global incidence. The pathogenesis of CD involves complex genetic, environmental, and microbial factors.
