Seed endophytes are actively used by the mother plant as both reservoir and vector of beneficial microbes. During seed dormancy endophytes experience significant physiochemical changes and only competent endophytes could colonise successfully in seeds and some of them act as obligate endophyte that are transmitted vertically across generations. The adaptive nature of endophytes allows them to switch lifestyles depending on environment and host conditions.

Although glycine is the simplest of the amino acids, its solution and solid-state properties are far from straightforward. The aqueous solubility of glycine plays an important role in various applications, including nutrition, food products, biodegradable plastics, and drug development. There is evidence that glycine in subsaturated pH 3-8 solutions forms a dimer, as suggested by several techniques.

Understanding how TiO2 interacts with CO2 at the molecular level is crucial in the CO2 reduction toward value-added energy sources. Here, we report in-situ observations of the CO2 activation process on the reduced TiO2(110) surface at room temperature using ambient pressure scanning tunneling microscopy. We found that oxygen vacancies (Vo) diffuse dynamically along the bridging oxygen (Obr) rows of the TiO2(110) surface under ambient CO2(g) environments.

Following recent advances in post-thrombectomy stroke care, the role of neuroinflammation and neuroprotective strategies in mitigating secondary injury has gained prominence. Yet, while neuroprotection and anti-inflammatory agents have re-emerged in clinical trials, their success has been limited. The neuroinflammatory response in cerebral ischemia is robust and multifactorial, complicating therapeutic approaches targeting single pathways.

Previous research has suggested that numerosity estimation and counting are closely related to distributed and focused attention, respectively (Chong & Evans, WIREs Cognitive Science, 2(6), 634-638, 2011). Given the critical role of color in guiding attention, this study investigated its effects on numerosity processing by manipulating both color variety (single color, medium variety, high variety) and spatial arrangement (clustered, random). Results from the estimation task revealed that high color variety led to a perceptual bias towards larger quantities, regardless of whether colors were clustered or randomly arranged.
