Background: The goal of this study was to investigate the association between ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP) use and inpatient hospitalization cost for lung transplantation in a nationwide sample.
Methods: Lung transplantation patients in 2018-2020 Nationwide Readmissions Database (NRD) were grouped based on use of EVLP. The primary outcome was total inpatient hospitalization cost.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of pre-existing diabetes mellitus and post-transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM) on the occurrence of pyelonephritis in kidney transplant recipients. Methods: Frailty was measured using the HCT Frailty Scale at first consultation and HCT admission in 404 adults from 15 HCT programs in Spain. Based on the results, patients were classified into fit, pre-frail and frail categories.
