Regulation of chromatin is a key process in the developmental control of gene expression. Many multi-subunit protein complexes have been found to regulate chromatin through the modification of histone residues. One such complex is the MOF histone acetyltransferase-containing NSL complex. While the composition of the human and Drosophila NSL complexes has been determined and the functions of these complexes investigated, the existence of an equivalent complex in nematodes such as Caenorhabditis elegans has not yet been explored. Here we summarise evidence, from our own work and that of others, that homologues of NSL complex components are found in C. elegans. We review data suggesting that nematode proteins SUMV-1 and SUMV-2 are homologous to NSL2 and NSL3, respectively, and that SUMV-1 and SUMV-2 may form a complex with MYS-2, the worm homolog of MOF. We propose that these interactions suggest the existence of a nematode NSL-like complex and discuss the roles of this putative NSL complex in worms as well as exploring the possibility of crosstalk between NSL and COMPASS complexes via components that are common to both. We present the groundwork from which a full characterization of a nematode NSL complex may begin.

As novel promising anticancer candidates, the piano-stool type complexes of ruthenium, [RuCl(η-p-cymene)(N,S-L)]PF, K-, were synthesized from the reaction of the substituted benzo[b]thiophene based thiosemicarbazone ligands (L) with [{RuCl(η-p-cymene)}(μ-Cl)]. All complexes were fully characterized using elemental analysis, and spectroscopic methods such as FT-IR and H NMR. The molecular masses of the complexes were proved by MALDI-TOF analysis.

Background: Magnetic digestive anastomosis has the potential to reduce anastomotic complications and complexity. We report the 1-year results of a new surgical technique using Self-forming Neodymium magnet Anastomosis Procedure with Sleeve gastrectomy (SNAP-S; GI Windows).
Methods: This was a prospective, nonrandomized multicenter trial.

In recent years, deep learning-based approaches, particularly those leveraging the Transformer architecture, have garnered widespread attention for network traffic anomaly detection. However, when dealing with noisy data sets, directly inputting network traffic sequences into Transformer networks often significantly degrades detection performance due to interference and noise across dimensions. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-channel network traffic anomaly detection model, MTC-Net, which reduces computational complexity and enhances the model's ability to capture long-distance dependencies.

In an effort to investigate small molecule activation by heavier transition metal (TM) based κ-,-chelated species, we have synthesised a series of bis-κ-1,3-,-chelated complexes of osmium, [Os(PPh)(κ-,-L/L)], 2a-b, and [Os(PPh)(L/L)(κ-,-L/L)], 3a-b (2a and 3a: L[double bond, length as m-dash] = CHNS; 2b and 3b: L = CHNS), from the thermolysis of [Os(PPh)Cl], 1, with a potassium salt of heterocyclic ligands L and L. The former complexes are diamagnetic in nature, while the EPR spectra, XPS study and density functional theory (DFT) calculations have substantiated the paramagnetic behaviour of 3a-b with a significant spin contribution from non-innocent ligands. These species were engaged in B-H activation of boranes utilizing the combined effect of hemilability and metal-ligand cooperativity (MLC), where 2a-b upon treatment with BH·SMe yielded Os(σ-borate)hydride complexes, [Os(PPh)(H){κ-,,'-BH(L/L)}], 4a-b (4a: L = CHNS; 4b: L = CHNS).

With the rapid advancement of the Internet of Things, network security has garnered increasing attention from researchers. Applying deep learning (DL) has significantly enhanced the performance of Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDSs). However, due to its complexity and "black box" problem, deploying DL-based NIDS models in practical scenarios poses several challenges, including model interpretability and being lightweight.
