Background: NSAIDs are commonly used as first line therapy in chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis (CNO) but are not effective for all patients. The objective of this study was to identify clinical variables associated with NSAID monotherapy response versus requiring second-line medication in a single-center cohort of patients with CNO.
Methods: The charts of children with CNO who attended a CNO clinic at a quaternary care center between 1/1/05 and 7/31/21 were retrospectively reviewed.

Methods: Patients with major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder and, schizophrenia and with comorbid obesity (n = 29) were assigned to a 12-week structured physical exercise program. Peripheral blood biomarkers of inflammation, oxidative stress, vascular mechanisms, and metabolic activity, as well as neurocognitive and functional performance were assessed twice, before and after intervention.

Background: C-reactive protein (CRP) is an inflammatory biomarker that has been associated with an increased risk of future cognitive decline, alongside other biomarkers such as β-amyloid (Aβ). We sought to explore the relationship between CRP levels and the amyloid/tau/neurodegeneration (A/T/N) groups in elderly individuals with and without APOE-ε4.
Method: From 1203 participants of the Gothenburg H70 Birth Cohort study, born in 1944, plasma CRP levels were collected among 300 participants (159 men & 141 women) who did not have dementia.
