We attempted to investigate the effect of cervical stabilization exercise for a period of 5 weeks on active joint position sense in healthy young adults. Twenty-four subjects were randomly assigned to either the exercise group or the control group. The exercise group performed cervical stabilization exercise during the 5-week period. Cervical active joint position sense was measured using the head repositioning accuracy test. The result showed a positive interaction between time and group in the left and right rotation, flexion, and extension. Cervical stabilization exercise significantly improved the sense for four position senses in the exercise group (p< 0.05). However, there was no difference in the four position senses in the control group (p> 0.05). In conclusion, we suggested that cervical stabilization exercise leads to improvement in accuracy of the joint position sense.

Atalanto-occipital dislocations with type II fractures of the odontoid process are rare, reporting 7 cases for every 784 upper cervical spine injuries, an incidence of <0.3% and are related to a high rate of morbidity and mortality. Regarding C2 fractures, the most common are in the odontoid process, representing 7%, classified by Anderson and D'Alonso according to their level, with the highest rate of pseudarthrosis in zone II of up to 85% are caused mainly by car accidents.

Microtextured microneedles are tiny needle-like structures with micron-scale microtextures, and the drugs stored in the microtextures can be released after entering the skin to achieve the effect of precise drug delivery. In this study, the skin substitution model of Ogden's hyperelastic model and the microneedle array and microtexture models with different geometrical parameters were selected to simulate and analyse the flow of the microtexture microneedle arrays penetrating the skin by the finite-element method, and the length of the microneedles was determined to be 200 μm, the width 160 μm, and the value of the gaps was determined to be 420 μm. A four-pronged cone was chosen as the shape of microneedles, and a rectangle was chosen as the shape of the drug-carrying microneedle.

Objective: Repositioning and fixation of the posterior septal angle (PSA) relative to the anterior nasal spine (ANS) is a well-known maneuver performed during rhinoplasty. Suture techniques through the periosteum along with transosseous drilling through the spine are the two most common fixation methods. We report on how nasal airway patency varies as a function of technique and patient demographic factors.

Background And Aim: Osteoid osteoma (Oo) and osteoblastoma (Ob) are rare primary bone tumors with a higher prevalence in the second decade of life. Treatment can be conservative, but in cases of spinal location, resective surgery is of great importance but may be challenging.
Material And Methods: We report four pediatric cases of Oo and Ob managed in our unit, with different locations at the level of the cervical spine.

Cervical cancer remains a significant health challenge in developing countries are high due to low HPV vaccination rates, delayed diagnosis, and restricted healthcare access. Metal nanomaterials, such as copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles (NPs), have shown significant promise in cancer therapy due to their ability to induce apoptosis. 5-Fluorouracil (5-Fu) enhances the cytotoxic effect against cervical cancer, working synergistically with CuO NPs to maximize the therapeutic impact while potentially reducing the 5-Fu's systemic side effects.
