Background: Long-gap esophageal atresia (LGEA) can complicate the management of esophageal atresia (EA) with or without a tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF). This series describes a short interval, staged, thoracoscopic internal traction approach for LGEA with distal TEF to manage complex anastomotic tension or an anatomically impossible esophageal anastomosis.
Methods: A retrospective review (2018-2024) was performed across four tertiary centers to identify patients with LGEA and distal TEF, managed with a staged, thoracoscopic internal traction approach.

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the short-term outcomes of single-port thoracoscopic rib fracture reduction and internal fixation for the treatment of multiple rib fractures.
Methods: This study included 149 patients with multiple rib fractures admitted to the Second People's Hospital Affiliated with Fujian University of Chinese Medicine between June 2021 and April 2024. The patients were divided into two groups based on the surgical method.

Background: We aimed to assess the outcomes of reduced port surgery using "marionette technique" in patients with primary spontaneous pneumothorax (PSP) compared to conventional three-port video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery( VATS).
Methods: Ninety patients were enrolled in this study from August 2015 to July 2021. The marionette technique was performed as follow.

We introduce a novel approach for reduced-port robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for thoracic neoplasms. Surgery is performed via single- or two-incision. Main incision( 4 cm) is placed on 8th intercostal space on mid-axillary line and second incision, if needed, is placed on 5th intercostal space on anterior axillary line.
