In this research the changes in the supramolecular structure of distilled water during germination of the seed in this water were studied. We used three methods: gravimetry, precision thermal analysis, electron work function measurements. In the first stage of seed germination--seed swelling--the seed extracts coherent domains in the water, herewith due to the transition of coherent domains adsorbed in nanofields into a stable state the flow of electromagnetic energy appears. In the second stage of the experiment--germ growing--the flow of biophotons occurs. This is evidenced by the increased water electron work function. A hypothetical model of the process of zucchini seed germination is suggested.

Development of bio-supported photocatalysts has become a pressing need in the field of environmental remediation. This work reports the synthesis of bio-enzyme (from banana peels) inherited (ZnO/g-CN) nanocomposite by simple soft chemical method and its photocatalytic degradation ability against the mixed dye (Methylene blue (MB) + Rhodamine-B (RhB)) under UV irradiation. Synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using experimental techniques XRD, FESEM, TEM, EDAX, XPS, UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy and FTIR.

Maize leaf blight (MLB), caused by the fungus , is an important disease affecting maize production. In order to minimize the use of fungicides in agriculture, nutrient-based resistance inducers may become a promising alternative to manage MLB. The goal of this study was to investigate the potential of Semia (zinc (20%) complexed with a plant-derived pool of polyphenols (10%)) to hamper the infection of maize leaves by by analyzing their photosynthetic performance and carbohydrate and antioxidative metabolism, as well as the expression of defense-related genes.

Drought stress can adversely affect the seed germination and seedling growth of wheat plants. This study analyzed the effect of drought on seed germination and the morphological parameters of seedlings from ten winter wheat genotypes. The primary focus was to elucidate the effects of two drought intensities on metabolic status in wheat seedlings.

During a field study in the Baili Azalea Forest Area in Guizhou Province, China (27°12'N, 105°48'E) between May and July 2023, symptoms of leaf spot were observed on Franch. The incidence of leaf spot on leaves was about 12% in a field of 1 hm2, significantly reducing their ornamental and economic value. The affected leaves bore irregular, grey-white lesions with distinct dark brown borders, accompanied by black conidiomata.
