Burkholderia dilworthii strain WSM3556(T) is an aerobic, motile, Gram-negative, non-spore-forming rod that was isolated from an effective N2-fixing root nodule of Lebeckia ambigua collected near Grotto Bay Nature Reserve, in the Western Cape of South Africa, in October 2004. This plant persists in infertile and deep sandy soils with acidic pH, and is therefore an ideal candidate for a perennial based agriculture system in Western Australia. WSM3556(T) thus represents a potential inoculant quality strain for L. ambigua for which we describe the general features, together with genome sequence and annotation. The 7,679,067 bp high-quality permanent draft genome is arranged in 140 scaffolds of 141 contigs, contains 7,059 protein-coding genes and 64 RNA-only encoding genes, and is part of the GEBA-RNB project proposal.

Geopolymer, as a promising inorganic binding material, holds potential for use in constructing base layers for highway pavements. This study aims to evaluate the mechanical properties of geopolymer-stabilized macadam (GSM) at both the micro- and macro-scale by a series of tests, demonstrating that high-Ca GSM is a high-quality material for pavement base layers. The results demonstrated that GSM exhibits outstanding mechanical and fatigue properties, significantly surpassing those of cement-stabilized macadam (CSM).

We develop and illustrate a framework to trace value from social determinants of health (SDOH) interventions across 4 dimensions: health, cost and quality, engagement, and equity. To provide context, we begin by estimating the societal value lost to premature deaths from homelessness and food insecurity, using recent longitudinal methods that offer greater precision. We then apply the value tracing framework to 2 example interventions: permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless people and medically tailored meals for dual eligibles.

There has been a sharp rise in the extent and scale of human activities since the mid-20th century, termed the "Great Acceleration", and nuclear activities are one of the defining technological processes for this period. Pu released by atmospheric nuclear weapons tests provides an ideal chronostratigraphic marker for labeling this change due to its global fallout feature, temporal mutation, and long half-lives. However, the accumulation dynamics of plutonium from atmospheric deposition to preservation in the sediment is still controversial.

The prevalence of traumatic dental injuries (TDI) in patients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) remains unclear. Given these discrepancies, an updated review of the evidence on the risk of TDI in patients with ASD is essential. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the prevalence of TDI in patients with ASD and compare it to that in neurotypical patients.

Objective: To assess the association of agency nursing staff utilization with nursing home (NH) quality.
Background: Nursing staff are the primary caregivers in NHs, where high-quality care is contingent upon their adequacy and expertise. Long-standing staffing challenges, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, have led NHs to rely on agency/contract labor to alleviate staffing shortages.
