Glyphosate-based herbicides (GBHs) are the most widely used herbicides in the United States, accounting for 19% of estimated global use. Although the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reaffirmed that the active ingredient glyphosate (GLY) is safe for humans, recent studies on exposure have suggested association with cancer, metabolic disorders, endocrine disruption and infertility, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, and psychological disorders. Current literature on the effects of GLY exposure on reproductive function suggests potential clinical implications on women's reproductive health, including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, infertility, and adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Background: Amniotic fluid (AF) plays a key role in fetal development, yet the evolving composition of AF and its effects on hemostasis and thrombosis are poorly understood.
Objectives: To characterize the procoagulant properties of AF as a function of gestation in humans and nonhuman primates.
Methods: We analyzed the proteomes, lipidomes, and procoagulant properties of AF obtained by amniocentesis from rhesus macaque and human pregnancies at gestational age-matched time points.
Single-cell RNA-seq data have prevalent blood contamination but can be rescued by Originator, a computational tool separating single-cell RNA-seq by genetic and contextual information.

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data from complex human tissues have prevalent blood cell contamination during the sample preparation process. They may also comprise cells of different genetic makeups. We propose a new computational framework, Originator, which deciphers single cells by genetic origin and separates immune cells of blood contamination from those of expected tissue-resident cells.

Purpose: The aim was to study the predictive model and validate serum ovarian tumor-related biomarkers for ovarian cancer histograms.
Method: We randomly selected 181 patients with ovarian tumors and 80 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations from the hospital's medical record information system as the study participants. Clinical data and detection results of ovarian tumor-related markers such as serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), and human epididymal protein (HE4) were collected from all study participants for analysis.

Approximately 1 in 10 women diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 35 carry germline BRCA pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants. Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors have been recently approved in the treatment of both early and advanced breast cancer. However, there are no published cases of exposure to PARP inhibitors during pregnancy.
