Aim: To perform a differential analysis of the efficacy of combination therapy by the drugs with different modalities (mexidol, aescusan, halidorum) in outpatients with chronic cerebral ischemia (CCI), stages I- III.
Material And Methods: A study included 50 patients with CCI of atherosclerotic, hypertensive and mixed genesis (stage I - 20 patients, stage II - 20, stage III - 10 patients). In addition to somatic therapy, patients received three courses of mexidol, halidorum and aescusan combination therapy during 6 weeks with a 3 month interval between the courses. The changes in subjective complaints and objective clinical manifestations were evaluated after each course.
Results And Conclusion: The therapeutic efficacy after durable complex therapy by repeated courses of antioxidants is supported by the results of clinical and neurological examinations. Mexidol in the combination with aescusan and halidorum contributed to the improvement of cognitive, adaptive, motor functions of the patients with CCI, stages I and II. To increase treatment efficacy in patients with CCI, stage III, we recommend to use the drugs that improve cognitive functions of the patients.

Introduction: Despite level 1 evidence supporting neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) followed by radical cystectomy (RC) for muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), its adoption is hindered by concerns about toxicity and detrimental impact on post-RC complications. We retrospectively reviewed post-RC complications at a tertiary care hospital, particularly assessing impact of NACT.
Methods: Data from the institutional bladder cancer database were retrieved for patients aged ≥18 with MIBC (≥American Joint Committee on Cancer Clinical Stage T2), treated with RC between May 2013 and July 2023.

Background: Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) is a prevalent condition worldwide, significantly diminishing quality of life and productivity. Except for the alignment change, muscle activation patterns (MAP) have garnered increasing attention as another crucial factor contributing to KOA.
Objective: This study explores the factors, characteristics, and effects of MAP changes caused by KOA, providing a neuromuscular-based causal analysis for the rehabilitation treatment of KOA.

Background: Postoperative fever (POF) is a common occurrence in patients undergoing major surgery, presenting challenges and burdens for both patients and surgeons yet. This study endeavors to examine the incidence, identify risk factors, and establish a machine learning-based predictive model for POF following surgery of oral cancer.
Methods: A total of seven hundred and twenty-seven consecutive patients undergoing radical resection of oral cancer were retrospectively investigated.

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, nursing home (NH) residents faced the highest risk of severe COVID-19 disease and mortality. Due to their frailty status, comorbidity burden can serve as a useful predictive indicator of vulnerability in this frail population. However, the prognostic value of these cumulative comorbidity scores like the Charlson comorbidity index (CCI) remained unclear in this population.

Background: Herein, we aimed to examine the relationship between sarcopenia, neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), Charlson comorbidity index (CCI), and prognostic nutritional index (PNI) in patients with superficial esophageal carcinoma who underwent definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT).
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 100 patients (87 males) diagnosed with cT1N0M0 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The included patients underwent CRT as an initial treatment.
