Endosomal toll-like receptors (TLRs) TLR7, TLR8, and TLR9 play an important role in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) pathogenesis. The proteolytic processing of these receptors in the endolysosome is required for signaling in response to DNA and single-stranded RNA, respectively. Targeting this proteolytic processing may represent a novel strategy to inhibit TLR-mediated pathogenesis.

Combination CD20-directed therapy plus PD-1 inhibition (PD-1i) increases T-cell tumor killing and NK-cell antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC). Mounting evidence supports immune-priming using PD-1i before cancer-directed agents.

We investigated whether microalgae or linseed supply during the early postpartum period affects ovarian restimulation and supports the first postpartum ovulation in lactating anovulatory goats. Thirty-eight An-glo-Nubian-crossbred adult goats were allocated into three groups, one with a control diet ( = 12), fed a total mixed ration (TMR) comprising chopped elephant grass and concentrate; an algal diet ( = 13), fed TMR + green microalgae (1% dry matter); and a linseed diet ( = 13), TMR + linseed (12% dry matter). Supplements were furnished from the second to fifth week (time of weaning).

As part of a conventional controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) regimen, final follicular maturation is usually triggered by a single bolus dose of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). COH, which combines GnRH antagonist co-treatment with GnRH agonist(GnRHa) trigger, is often used in attempts to eliminate severe early ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and to improve oocyte/embryo yield and quality. Recently, the combination of GnRHa, with hCG trigger has also been implemented into clinical practice.

Nonylphenol (NP), a non-ionic surfactant and potent endocrine disruptor, is known for its environmental persistence, biotic accumulation potential and toxicity. Nonetheless, mechanisms underlying NP modulation of female fertility with potential impact on embryogenesis in the unexposed offspring remain elusive. This study investigates the effects and toxic mechanisms of maternal exposure to NP at varying concentrations (50 and 100 μg/L) on zebrafish (Danio rerio), specifically focusing on ovarian health, reproductive parameters, and early developmental potential in the F1 generation.
