The United States is facing an unprecedented behavioral health crisis, exacerbated by workforce shortages that limit access to treatment. In response, states are attempting to increase access to behavioral health services by developing new professions and roles and expanding the functions of the existing behavioral health workforce. Yet, training, regulation, and payment policies are often not aligned to effectively deploy the workforce to serve in new or expanded roles to meet behavioral health needs.

At-Risk Mental State (ARMS) services aim to prevent the onset of first-episode psychosis (FEP) in those with specific clinical or genetic risk markers. In England, ARMS services are currently expanding, but the accessibility of this preventative approach remains questionable, especially for a subgroup of FEP patients and those from specific ethnic minority communities. This commentary outlines the key debates about why a complimentary approach to psychosis prevention is necessary, and gives details for an innovative public health strategy, drawing on existing research and health prevention theory.

Purpose Of Commentary: The number of facilities and physicians that offer pain management services has grown significantly since the 1970s. Despite the rise in prevalence of individuals with chronic pain during that time, interventional pain physicians remain underutilized. One reason why this may be the case is a large number of patients are referred directly to surgical specialists prior to being seen by an interventional pain physician.

This volume makes a notable contribution with a deep and extensive analysis to achieve the movement from Yoga Philosophy to Yoga Psychology for the promotion of integration with Modern Psychology, a task hitherto unrealized despite the burgeoning attention to Yoga. This commentary is constrained by my own limited knowledge of traditional Indian philosophy in making a thorough examination of Paranjpe's contribution beyond attention to selected concepts and sporadic illustrations from the original volume. Yoga practice is, Paranjpe informs us, just the tip of an immense consolidation of knowledge, deep intellectual thought and theoretical consideration about the embodied sense of self, health and well-being.

Approximately 90% of athletes return to play after Latarjet, comparable to arthroscopic Bankart repair. Patients may be physically unable to return to play, which may be due to persistent pain, apprehension, or weakness.
