Introduction: Progesterone is essential in establishing and maintaining early pregnancy. This article discusses the clinical applications of progesterone in reproductive medicine and in the management of infertile patients, focusing on the different available formulations of this drug.
Material And Methods: The literature of the last 20 years was reviewed and the most rilevant studies were critically analyzed.
Conclusions: Intramuscular or vaginal progesterone administration is critical to support the luteal phase following in-vitro fertilization and is widely employed in intrauterine insemination cycles as well. Furthermore, this hormone is usually administered in many disorders of the first trimester of pregnancy, including threatened abortion and recurrent miscarriage, but the evidence supporting its clinical efficiency is inconsistent.

Objectives: Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a distinct subtype of breast cancer that has a poor prognosis due to the lack of effective therapeutic agents. Since a significant proportion of human surgical samples of TNBC expressed mRNA for the growth hormone (GH), growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptors, and the mitogenic proliferative activity of GH, GHRH, and GnRH, have been identified as effective therapeutic targets for somatostatin and its analogs and GnRH analogs, Di Bella Method (DBM), a combination of hormonal analogs and vitamins, was introduced to target and inhibit solid tumors. The present study aimed to improve the prognosis of TNBC using DBM in women with TNBC.

Purpose: Previous studies have suggested a link between serum progesterone levels on the day of the HCG trigger in IVF cycles and oocyte and embryo quality. This study aims to explore this relationship more thoroughly.
Methods: This study included 496 infertility patients at Moloud Infertility Treatment Center, Zahedan, Iran.

Proper management of cattle reproduction has a major impact on the efficiency and profitability of dairy production. Ultrasound examination and transrectal palpation or the pregnancy-associated glycoprotein (PAG) test are currently the most commonly used methods for pregnancy diagnosis. However, alternative methods to those mentioned above are constantly being sought in order to minimise stress during the examination, the cost of veterinary services and to reduce the rate of errors in pregnancy diagnosis.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer characterized by the absence of progesterone and estrogen receptors and low (or absent) HER2 expression. TNBC accounts for 15-20% of all breast cancers. It is associated with younger age, a higher mutational burden, and an increased risk of recurrence and mortality.

Background: Adjuvant therapy decisions in hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer are evolving. Gene panel testing has reduced the number of patients recommended for chemotherapy by up to two thirds. Identifying low risk genomic cases before testing could represent a significant economic impact.
