Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is among the most aggressive brain cancers, and it contains glioma stem cells (GSCs) that drive tumor initiation, progression, and recurrence. These cells resist conventional therapies, contributing to high recurrence rates in GBM patients. Developing in vitro models that mimic the tumor microenvironment (TME), particularly the GSC niche, is crucial for understanding GBM growth and therapeutic resistance.

Conductive polymer foam (CPF) with excellent compressibility and variable resistance has promising applications in electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and other integrated functions for wearable electronics. However, its insufficient change amplitude of resistance with compressive strain generally leads to a degradation of shielding performance during deformation. Here, an innovative loading strategy of conductive materials on polymer foam is proposed to significantly increase the contact probability and contact area of conductive components under compression.

Clinical Problem: Detection of manual strangulation, choking and hanging, as well as the intensity of these actions, helps to clarify the course of events, to enforce the state's right to prosecute and ultimately to protect against further attacks. However, this is complicated by the scarcity of externally visible findings.
Standard Procedure To Date: The forensic examination of the head and neck after strangulation is carried out by means of external inspection to detect injuries and congestion above the strangulation level.

Cell culture methods are indispensable strategies for studies in biological sciences and for drug discovery and testing. Most cell cultures have been developed using two-dimensional (2D) culture methods, but three-dimensional (3D) culture techniques enable the establishment of models that replicate various pathogenic conditions and they provide valuable insights into the pathophysiology of various diseases as well as more precise results in tests for drug efficacy. However, one difficulty in the use of 3D cultures is selection of the appropriate 3D cell culture technique for the study purpose among the various techniques ranging from the simplest single cell type-derived spheroid culture to the more sophisticated organoid cultures.
