Background: The appearance of the intestinal mucosa during endoscopy varies among patients with primary intestinal lymphangiectasia (PIL).
Aim: To classify the endoscopic features of the intestinal mucosa in PIL under endoscopy, combine the patients' imaging and pathological characteristics of the patients, and explain their causes.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the endoscopic images of 123 patients with PIL who were treated at the hospital between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2018.

Background: Supermicrosurgical lymphaticovenular anastomosis is becoming a useful treatment option for progressive lower extremity lymphedema because of its minimal invasiveness. Finding a lymphatic vessel is a minimum requirement for lymphaticovenular anastomosis surgery, but no study has reported comprehensive analysis on factors associated with lymphatic vessel detection.
Methods: One hundred thirty-four female secondary lower extremity lymphedema patients who underwent indocyanine green lymphography and lymphaticovenular anastomosis without a history of lymphedema surgery were included.

Background: Bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) is used by healthcare specialists to diagnose lymphedema. BIS measures limb fluid content by assessing tissue resistance to the flow of electric current. However, there is debate regarding the validity of BIS in diagnosing early lymphedema.

Background: Although genital lymphedema is a challenging disease, its mechanism is unclear. The aim of this study was to identify the lymphatic flow in genital lymphedema and establish a suitable examination for genital lymphedema.
Methods: We injected phytic acid or albumin labeled with Tc at the bilateral first web spaces of the feet of 47 patients for lymphoscintigraphy.

Microsurgical vascularized lymph node transfer (VLNT) and supermicrosurgical lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA) are increasingly performed to treat lymphedema. The surgical outcome is commonly assessed by volume-based measurement (VBM), a method that is not consistently reliable. We describe indocyanine green (ICG) lymphography as an alternative postoperative tracking modality after lymphatic reconstruction with VLNT and LVA.
