Certain schools of phenomenological psychiatry conceive of as a pathology of common-sense. Ethnomethodological enquiry, with its roots in Schutzian social phenomenology, takes as its domain, topic, and substance of study the ongoing achievement of a common-sense world between social members. Yet, dialogue between psychiatry and ethnomethodological approaches is thin.

Aesthetics is the art of nursing that is expressive, subjective, and visible in the act of caring in nursing practice. Aesthetics in nursing practice satisfies holistic needs and achieves the quality of whole-person care. Prolonged implementation of lockdowns during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in older adults living alone in social isolation. The purpose of the study was to describe the meaning of the experience of Filipino older adults, who are living alone and using social media technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eight participants who met the inclusion criteria were interviewed using the snowball selection technique.

Objective: Explore children's and adolescents' (CADs') lived experiences of healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Design: Scoping review methodology provided a six-step framework to, first, identify and organise existing evidence. Interpretive phenomenology provided methodological principles for, second, an interpretive synthesis of the life worlds of CADs receiving healthcare, as represented by verbatim accounts of their experiences.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to describe the meanings of the life-world of school-age children with advanced cancer through aesthetic expression.
Data Sources: Drawing, writing, and interviewing data from 10 school-age children with advanced cancer living in Negros Island, Philippines, who met the inclusion criteria of the study.
Conclusion: Five major thematic categories structured the participants' existential life-worlds with advanced cancer and were reflected within five lived-worlds as follows: lived body, poor body conditions but strong mind; lived relation, unlike the others; lived time, being in present while waiting for normal life; lived space, certain places of living and caring; and lived thing, supportive living by technology.
