Eversion carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in awake patients is performed using cervical plexus blocks (CPBs) with or without carotid artery sheath infiltration (CASI) under ultrasound guidance. Although adequacy of anesthesia (AoA) guidance monitors nociception/antinociception balance, its impact on intraoperative analgesia quality and perioperative outcomes in awake CEA remains unexplored. Existing literature lacks evidence on whether AoA-guided anesthesia enhances clinical outcomes over standard techniques.

Purpose: Previous studies have demonstrated significant biomechanical differences between individuals with chronic ankle instability (CAI) and healthy controls during the Y-balance test. This study aimed to examine the effects of kinesio taping (KT) on lower limb biomechanical characteristics during the Y-balance anterior reach task in individuals with CAI.
Methods: A total of 30 participants were recruited, comprising 15 individuals with CAI and 15 healthy controls.

The purpose of this randomized cross-over controlled trial was to evaluate the biomechanical effects of ankle taping using rigid tape (RT) or kinesiotape (KT) compared to no taping during treadmill running in well-trained amateur runners. : A total of 22 participants (15 men and 7 women) completed three running sessions on a treadmill, each lasting 30 min, under different conditions: no taping (CG), RT, and KT. Sagittal and frontal plane kinematics were analyzed using the Kinovea software to assess the ankle dorsiflexion, knee flexion, hip extension, tibial angle, foot strike pattern, heel eversion, and pelvic drop across three intervals (0-10, 10-20, and 20-30 min).

Background: High ankle motion smoothness involves small acceleration or deceleration, which is related to ankle stability. Interventions for ankle motion smoothness are important to reduce the progression of chronic ankle instability (CAI) symptoms and prevent recurrent ankle sprains. Training using whole-body vibration (WBV) may easily and effectively improve ankle motion smoothness; however, its effects have not yet been investigated.

Objective: To investigate the effect of different degrees of wound eversion on scar formation at the donor site of anterolateral thigh flaps by a prospective clinical randomized controlled study.
Methods: According to the degree of wound eversion, the clinical trial was designed with groups of non-eversion (group A), eversion of 0.5 cm (group B), and eversion of 1.
