Eight species of the family Arrhopalitidae Stach, 1956 are listed from the Republic of Moldova. A new species, Arrhopalites prutensis sp. nov. is described. It belongs to the diversus group of species with 3, 2, 1, 1 anterior setae on dens, possesses neosminthuroid seta on the furca base region-a character rarely noted for the family. The new species is closely related to A. baccettii Dallai, 1969 and A. antonioi Giuga & Jordana, 2013 described from Sicily. Five species of the family are firstly recorded for the country.

Aim Of The Study: Analysis of clinical, laboratory and instrumental parameters in comorbid patients with severe COVID-19.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical, laboratory and instrumental parameters in patients with laboratory-confirmed severe COVID-19 taking into account the treatment outcome (recovery or lethal outcome). A multifactor logistic regression model was utilized to identify factors influencing lethal outcome in patients with severe COVID-19.

This article analyzes the prospects for the appearance of paper-based sensors on the sensor market. It is concluded that paper-based sensors are not a fantasy but a reality. It is shown that paper has properties that make it possible to develop a wide variety of paper-based sensors, such as SERS, colorimetric, fluorescent, conductometric, capacitive, fiber-optic, electrochemical, microfluidic, shape-deformation, microwave, and various physical sensors.

The timing of the initial dispersal of hominins into Eurasia is unclear. Current evidence indicates hominins were present at Dmanisi, Georgia by 1.8 million years ago (Ma), but other ephemeral traces of hominins across Eurasia predate Dmanisi.

Abstract: Quantum rings have emerged as a playground for quantum mechanics and topological physics, with promising technological applications. Experimentally realizable quantum rings, albeit at the scale of a few nanometers, are 3D nanostructures. Surprisingly, no theories exist for the topology of the Fermi sea of quantum rings, and a microscopic theory of superconductivity in nanorings is also missing.
