Background: Achieving bony union in scaphoid nonunion fractures is challenging. Various bone grafts have been studied using headless compression screws (HCS) fixation. However, the impact of bone graft choice on bone healing with volar locking plates (VLP) use is less clear.

Objective: To explore whether radiomics analysis of pericoronary adipose tissue (PCAT) captured by coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) could discriminate unstable angina (UA) from stable angina (SA).
Methods: In this single-center retrospective case-control study, coronary CT images and clinical data from 240 angina patients were collected and analyzed. Patients with unstable angina ( = 120) were well-matched with those having stable angina ( = 120).

This editorial explores the clinical implications of organizing pneumonia (OP) secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis, as presented in a recent case report. OP is a rare condition characterized by inflammation in the alveoli, which spreads to alveolar ducts and terminal bronchioles, usually after lung injuries caused by infections or other factors. OP is classified into cryptogenic (idiopathic) and secondary forms, the latter arising after infections, connective tissue diseases, tumors, or treatments like drugs and radiotherapy.

Objective: This study initiated a preliminary computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-based study to investigate the relationship between quantitative hemodynamics of arteriovenous malformation (AVM) draining veins and rupture.
Methods: The quantitative hemodynamics of AVM draining veins were generated from computed tomography angiography (CTA)-based steady-state CFD models. Morphological and hemodynamic parameters were compared between the ruptured and unruptured groups.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of CT-based radiomics features in discriminating between nodular goiter (NG) and papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).
Methods: A retrospective cohort comprising 228 patients with nodular goiter (NG) and 227 patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) diagnosed between January 2018 and December 2022 was consecutively enrolled. Propensity score matching (PSM) was applied to align patients with NG and PTC.
