Dynamic adsorption of radiocesium on titanium ferrocyanide grains from reactor coolant simulating solution containing salts at moderate concentrations has been investigated. Effective decontamination of the neutral solutions has been achieved, in the amounts of a more than 20 thousand bed volumes. After adsorption the titanium ferrocyanide was transferred to titanates and calcined at 900 °C. The leaching test of the obtained lithium titanates indicates that the loaded adsorbent can serve as an effective primary barrier in nuclear waste repositories.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by the abnormal proliferation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes and changes in the joint synovium, including elevated reactive oxygen species, decreased pH, and reduced oxygen content. In this study, we synthesized a novel nanocomposite material, namely HA-PBA-TiO Janus nanocomposite, by in situ etching in prussian blue analogs doped with Co and Ni, followed by the growth of TiO nano-flowers and encapsulation in hyaluronic acid. When these janus nanoparticles diffused to the inflammatory sites of RA, they exhibited outstanding photocatalytic water-splitting ability under 660 nm laser irradiation, generating H and O.

Screen-printed carbon electrodes (SPCE) functionalized with MXene-based three-dimensional nanomaterials are reported for rapid determination of creatinine. TiCT MXene with in situ reduced AuNPs (MXene@AuNP) were used as a coreactant accelerator for efficient immobilization of enzymes. Creatinine could be oxidized by chitosan-embedded creatinine amidohydrolase, creatine amidinohydrolase, or sarcosine oxidase to generate HO, which could be electrochemically detected enhanced by Prussian blue (PB).

Oxidative stress is widely recognized as a pivotal factor contributing to numerous Central Nervous System (CNS) ailments. The concentrations of hydrogen peroxide (HO) and phosphorylated proteins within the human body serve as crucial indicators of oxidative stress. As such, the real-time monitoring of HO and phosphorylated proteins in sweat is vital for the early identification, diagnosis, and management of diseases linked to oxidative stress.
