Aim: This study aims to determine and compare the achieved competencies of graduating nursing students of public and private universities in Iran.
Background: The main responsibility of nursing education is to train nurses who possess the necessary competencies to provide safe and high-quality care. Given that a significant proportion of nursing education in Iran is the responsibility of private universities, it is essential to ensure that nursing graduates acquire the required competencies.

Background: The second victim (SV) experience limits the performance of health and care workers and places patients at risk. Peer support is recognised as the most effective, feasible and acceptable intervention to mitigate its impact.
Objective: To define a set of success factors when designing interventions to support SVs in health and care facilities based on expertise in different European countries.
Background: Cork University Hospital, Ireland's largest teaching hospital, faced challenges in maintaining consistent handover processes in its Acute Mental Health Unit (AMHU). Prior to 2019, handovers relied on informal methods, risking information loss and compromising patient care. This quality improvement (QI) initiative aimed to standardise handover practices using an electronic tool integrated with the ISBAR communication protocol.

Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy has shown transformative potential in treating malignant tumours, with increasing global approval of CAR-T products. However, high-production costs and risks associated with viral vector-based CAR-T cells-such as insertional mutagenesis and secondary tumour formation-remain challenges. Our study introduces an innovative CAR-T engineering approach using mRNA delivered via lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), aiming to reduce costs and enhance safety while maintaining strong anti-tumour efficacy.

Background: Antimicrobial resistance poses a significant threat to global health, with its spread intricately linked across human, animal, and environmental sectors. Revealing the antimicrobial resistance gene (ARG) flow among the One Health sectors is essential for better control of antimicrobial resistance.
Results: In this study, we investigated regional ARG transmission among humans, food, and the environment in Dengfeng, Henan Province, China by combining large-scale metagenomic sequencing with culturing of resistant bacterial isolates in 592 samples.
