Information and communication technologies are widely used in healthcare. However, there is not still a unified taxonomy for them. The lack of understanding of this phenomenon implies theoretical and ethical issues. This paper attempts to find out the basis for a classification, starting from a new perspective: the structural elements are obtained from the etymologies of the lexicon commonly used, that is words like telemedicine, telehealth, telecare and telecure. This will promote a better understanding of communication technologies; at the same time, it will allow to draw some reflection about health, medicine and care, and their semantic and relational nature.

Corporate discourse offers a prime site for the study of interdiscursive performance across linguistic and cultural boundaries. However, there is a dearth of quantitative studies to assess cultural interdiscursivity in corporate discourse. Taking advantage of an LDA model and a dispersion formula, this study provides a corpus-based measurement of the interdiscursivity of corporate cultures as expressed within MD&A texts.

The pursuit of miniaturized Si electronics has revolutionized computing and communication. During recent years, the value addition in electronics has also been achieved through printing, flexible and stretchable electronics form factors, and integration over areas larger than wafer size. Unlike Si semiconductor manufacturing which takes months from tape-out to wafer production, printed electronics offers greater flexibility and fast-prototyping capabilities with lesser resources and waste generation.

Metasurfaces, consisting of subwavelength-thickness units with different wave responses, provide an innovative possible method to manipulate elastic and acoustic waves efficiently. The application of metasurfaces to manipulate on-chip surface acoustic wave (SAW) at sub-GHz frequencies requires further exploration since their wave functions are highly demanded in nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS), sensing, communications, microfluid control and quantum processing. Here, the experimental realization of on-chip SAW metasurfaces is reported, consisting of gradient submicron niobium (Nb) rectangular pillars positioned on a 128°Y-cut lithium niobate (LiNbO) substrate that operate at hundreds of megahertz.
