The reaction of Co(NCS)2 with 4-(4-chlorobenzyl)pyridine (ClBP) leads to the formation of Co(NCS)2(4-(4-chlorobenzyl)pyridine)4 () and [Co(NCS)2(4-(4-chlorobenzyl)pyridine)2]n (). In the crystal structure of the Co(ii) cations are octahedrally coordinated by two terminal bonded thiocyanato anions and four ClBP ligands, whereas in the Co(ii) cations are linked into chains by pairs of μ-1,3-bridging thiocyanato anions. Magnetic measurements of show an antiferromagnetic phase transition with TN = 3.9 K. A metamagnetic transition is observed at the critical magnetic field of 260 Oe. Magnetic relaxations in the zero field are consistent with single chain magnetic behavior. These results are compared with those obtained for similar compounds reported recently.

The aging process induces a variety of changes in the brain detectable by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These changes include alterations in brain volume, fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) white matter hyperintense lesions, and variations in tissue properties such as relaxivity, myelin, iron content, neurite density, and other microstructures. Each MRI technique offers unique insights into the structural and compositional changes occurring in the brain due to normal aging or neurodegenerative diseases.

Objectives: Gadopiclenol is a q = 2 pyclen gadolinium-based contrast agent (GBCA) recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration, European Medicines Agency, and other European countries. The aim of this report is to demonstrate its stability in multiple stressed in vitro conditions and in vivo, in rat kidney, while maintaining its higher relaxivity compared with conventional GBCAs on the market.
Materials And Methods: Both gadopiclenol and its chemical precursor Pi828-Gd were characterized and compared with q = 1 gadolinium (Gd) complexes.

Objectives: To explore texture analysis' ability on T and T relaxation maps to classify liver fibrosis into no-to-mild liver fibrosis (nmF) versus severe fibrosis (sF) group using machine learning algorithms and histology as reference standard.
Materials And Methods: In this single-center study, patients undergoing 3 T MRI who also had histology examination were retrospectively enrolled. SNAPSHOT-FLASH sequence for T1 mapping, radial turbo-spin-echo sequence for T2 mapping and spin-echo echo-planar-imaging magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) sequences were analyzed.
