For the first time, various hydride phases in a zirconium-hydrogen system have been prepared in a high-energy synchrotron X-ray radiation beamline and their transformation behaviour has been studied in situ. First, the formation and dissolution of hydrides in commercially pure zirconium powder were monitored in real time during hydrogenation and dehydrogenation, then whole pattern crystal structure analysis such as Rietveld and Pawley refinements were performed. All commonly reported low-pressure phases presented in the Zr-H phase diagram are obtained from a single experimental arrangement.

Boron dipyrromethene (BODIPY)-based zirconium metal-organic frameworks (Zr-MOFs) possess strong light-harvesting capabilities and great potential for artificial photosynthesis without the use of sacrificial reagents. However, their direct preparation has not yet been achieved due to challenges in synthesizing suitable ligands. This study evaluated the effect of different occlusal surface finishes (glaze and silica glass infiltration) on surface characteristics and fatigue behavior of partially stabilized zirconia (PSZ) plates adhesively bonded onto epoxy resin discs. Objectives: This study aimed to elucidate the effect of various two-step sintering (TSS) protocols on the physical, mechanical, and optical properties of partially stabilized zirconia with different yttria dopant concentrations (Y-PSZ).
Methods: Disc-shaped specimens were obtained from most widely used commercial dental zirconia powders of various Y contents (Tosoh Corp.) by uniaxial pressing followed by cold-isostatic pressing.
