Transferring knowledge learned from standard GelSight sensors to other visuotactile sensors is appealing for reducing data collection and annotation. However, such cross-sensor transfer is challenging due to the differences between sensors in internal light sources, imaging effects, and elastomer properties. By understanding the data collected from each type of visuotactile sensors as domains, we propose a few-sample-driven style-to-content unsupervised domain adaptation method to reduce cross-sensor domain gaps.

Biomarkers are critical for heart failure (HF) management by facilitating risk stratification, therapeutic decision-making, and monitoring treatment response. This prospective, single-center study aimed to assess predictors of death during one-year follow-up in patients with end-stage HF, with particular emphasis on the soluble suppression of tumorigenicity 2/left ventricular mass index (sST2/LVMI) ratio, modified Model for End-stage Liver Disease (modMELD), and Model for End-stage Liver Disease excluding INR (MELD-XI). This study comprised 429 consecutive patients with end-stage HF hospitalized between 2018 and 2023.

The Komodo dragon () is the largest extant lizard and is classified as an endangered species. Despite its rarity, anatomical studies on this species remain limited, hindering a comprehensive understanding of its biology and evolutionary traits. This research presents a detailed anatomical and histological examination of the pelvic limb of a female Komodo dragon, providing valuable insights into the musculoskeletal system of this species.

Background: Nursing students' clinical learning is premised on experiences in clinical placements in nurse education, with the processes and outcomes of tripartite meetings among the student, nurse preceptor and teacher being central components. The tripartite meetings form the basis and framework for stakeholders' dialogue and collaboration and have the central purpose of facilitating student learning and development and assessing the students' achievement against predetermined learning outcomes for the placement period. Students' experiences with tripartite meetings seems to be an underexplored field, and therefor this study aimed to explore first-year nursing students' learning experiences within tripartite clinical placement meetings in nursing homes.
