Context: This study aimed to investigate the characteristics, diagnosis, and management of tuberculous longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (TB-LETM), a rare manifestation of tuberculosis.
Findings: We analyzed two rare cases of TB-LETM and discussed their clinical manifestations and imaging findings in the context of the relevant literature. Patient 1, a 23-year-old female, presented with quadriplegia and dysuria, and spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed lesions extending from C1 to T3.

Bickerstaff Brainstem Encephalitis (BBE) is a rare immunologic condition characterized by CNS inflammation, presenting with ataxia, external ophthalmoplegia, altered consciousness, and quadriplegia. A 25-year-old male with no significant medical history exhibited symptoms of blurred vision, diplopia, facial numbness, and imbalance following a respiratory infection. Brain MRI revealed hyperintense lesions in the cerebral peduncle and pons on T2-weighted/FLAIR sequences but not on T1-weighted sequences, indicative of demyelination.

Objective: The objective was to explore the characteristics of risk factors in children with cerebral palsy (CP), focusing on the effects of single risk factors and the number of risk factors on the classification, GMFCS level, and comorbidities of children with CP.
Methods: The medical records of children with CP hospitalized from 2015 to 2023 were reviewed. The effects of nine risk factors, such as hyperbilirubinemia, asphyxia, and HIE, on the classification, GMFCS level and comorbidities of children with CP were studied.
