Purpose Of Review: To highlight the advances and the data published in the field of gynaecological oncology surgery in the last few years. The review includes not only newly introduced surgical techniques but also data that consolidate recent developments.

Recent Findings: Ultimate data on the use of laparoscopy in the treatment of gynaecologic malignancies have proven similar survival outcomes to the traditional surgical route and confirmed the benefits in terms of faster recovery and lower morbidity. Thanks to a faster learning curve, the use of robotic surgery has contributed to the increase in the number of surgeons who moved away from open surgery. A few pioneers are expanding the indications of laparoscopy to exenterative surgery and treatment of ovarian cancer.

Summary: Laparoscopic surgery has become the gold standard treatment for patients with primary endometrial or cervical cancer. The advent of robotic surgery has reinforced the domain of endoscopic surgery.

Objectives: We explored how to improve communication about low-risk lesions including labels, language and other strategies.

Design: Qualitative description and thematic analysis to examine the transcripts of telephone interviews with patients who had low-risk lesions and physicians; and mapping to Communication Accommodation Theory to interpret themes.

Setting: Canada PARTICIPANTS: 15 patients: 6 (40%) bladder, 5 (33%) prostate and 4 (27%) cervix lesions; and 13 physicians: 7 (54%) cervix, 3 (23%) bladder and 3 (23%) prostate lesions.

The fallopian tube undergoes extensive molecular changes during the menstrual cycle and menopause. We use single-cell RNA and ATAC sequencing to construct a comprehensive cell atlas of healthy human fallopian tubes during the menstrual cycle and menopause. Our scRNA-seq comparison of 85,107 pre- and 46,111 post-menopausal fallopian tube cells reveals substantial shifts in cell type frequencies, gene expression, transcription factor activity, and cell-to-cell communications during menopause and menstrual cycle.
