Angiosarcoma is a malignant neoplasm of endothelial cells of blood vessels, representing 2% of all sarcomas. The occurrence of angiosarcoma in the oral cavity is a rare. In general management includes resection and wide-field postoperative radiation therapy. The risk of local-regional failure and distant relapse is still a cause of worry. Herewith, a case of angiosarcoma of mandible in a female patient is presented, who presented with small, innocent-looking mass, which became a highly destructive malignant tumor within few days.

Hemangioendothelioma is a diverse set of proliferative and neoplastic vascular lesions with biological characteristics that fall halfway between benign hemangioma and malignant angiosarcoma. Hemangioendothelioma of the oral cavity is extremely rare and if present, it is seen on lips, gingiva, tongue, maxilla, and mandible. Background: Angiosarcoma occurs very rarely in the oral cavity, and the epithelioid type is even rarer. Here, we report a rare case involving an elderly man with a primary epithelioid angiosarcoma that originated from the mandibular gingiva and resembled a dentigerous cyst on radiographs.
Case Presentation: A 66-year-old Japanese man visited our hospital with a chief complaint of gingival swelling in right mandibular third molar region.
