It was found that in isolated infundibular stenosis of the pulmonary artery a mass of muscle-fibrous tissue creates an obstacle to blood flow in the right ventricle. Morphogenetic regularities of compensatory and adaptive reactions in isolated infundibular stenosis are similar to those observed in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It may be suggested that abnormalities in the structure of the hypertrophied myocardium in isolated stenosis of the right ventricle infundibulum is a result of a fundamental error in the cardiac morphogenesis and not a reflection of increase of the degree of cardiac hypertrophy.

During a study on the diversity of ciliated protists in Lake Weishan Wetland, the largest wetland in northern China, four epibiotic sessilid peritrichs were isolated from aquatic host animals. Two of them, i.e.

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe our final results using dual cervical and fundal indocyanine green injection for the detection of sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) in endometrial cancer along parametrial and infundibular drainage pathways.
Methods: We conducted a prospective observational study between 26 June 2014 and 31 December 2020 enrolling 332 patients that underwent laparoscopic surgery for endometrial cancer at our hospital. In all cases, we performed SLN biopsy with dual cervical and fundal indocyanine green injection identifying pelvic and aortic SLNs.

Purpose: Postoperative pituitary dysfunction, a critical problem in the treatment of craniopharyngiomas, can occur even when the pituitary stalk is preserved. We hypothesized that compromise of the primary superior hypophyseal artery (pSHA) might be related to this occurrence.
Methods: We performed a retrospective review of 131 patients with craniopharyngioma who underwent surgery from April 2009 to September 2021.

Background: With relevant surrounding neurological structures and potential involvement of the hypothalamus, the surgical management of craniopharyngiomas is complex. Compared to the transcranial approach, the expanded endoscopic endonasal approach provides direct access to the supradiaphragmatic and retrochiasmatic areas without crossing nerves and arteries.
Method: Based on our substantial experience of 68 patients operated on between 2008 and 2022 by endoscopic surgery, our strategy has evolved such that all of our midline infundibular craniopharyngiomas with hypothalamic involvement are currently treated with an expanded endonasal route, except for tumours isolated to the third ventricle.
